An essential element prescribed in recovery from substance abuse/dependence and process addictions is a “spiritual awakening,” that, hopefully, brings greater depth and meaning to the life of the individual, as well as the promotion of pro-social values for the enhancement of the community.
In this two hour introductory presentation, participants will be exposed to the: history and background of brainspotting; at least 3 forms of basic brainspotting for trauma and disturbance which can be used with recovering people; the use of the pointer, and case examples highlighting the use of basic brainspotting and benefits to each person.
